    Accommodates 16 — 8 Bedrooms — 8 Baths

Do you have a group of 5 or 6 or even 7 or 8 couples, and do you want each couple to have their own bathroom? Villa del Cacciatore is the villa for you. All bedrooms are more or less equal, and each has an immediately adjacent modern bath. The house is equally good, as you can already imagine, for a large, extended family, or for two to four small families traveling together.

Villa del Cacciatore was originally a hunting lodge. It has recently been totally transformed and modernized into a comfortable, but not fancy or elegant holiday home. Furnishings are an appealing mix of new and old. Mattresses are new, and as mentioned above, so are baths. The kitchen is well-equipped.

The location of Villa del Cacciatore is ideal. It's just on the outskirts of the delightful Tuscan hilltown of Montespertoli, about 30 minutes' drive southwest of Florence, on the edge of Chianti country. Everything you want to see in Tuscany is within 15-60 minutes' drive.

The villa develops over three levels. The ground floor contains a double living room; separate dining room with seating for 20; full kitchen with fireplace, dishwasher, washing machine, and American coffeemaker and toaster; one twin bedroom; and guest half-bath. Up one flight are three matrimonial and one twin bedroom, while the top floor contains two matrimonials and one twin. Each bedroom contains its own bathroom en-suite; one of the bathrooms contains tub and shower, while all the others have shower only, which we know most Americans prefer. The house is equipped with a telephone, satellite television, and stereo/cassette player.

There's a good swimming pool, and the grounds contain space and furniture for outdoor dining and lounging. Housekeeping is not included in the rental price, but it is available at a modest hourly rate. We recommend you arrange for 4 hours each morning, 6 mornings a week, at a minimum. Additional services, such as personal laundry, ironing, food shopping, and cooking are also available. So is the use of the owner's private tennis court a couple of miles away.

Villa del Cacciatore is one of the most ideally located, practical, comfortable villas we know, at what have become quite reasonable prices. We highly recommend the property for your consideration.
